I know you guys are huge into new technology and I know you have implemented 3D audio into your games in the past, but I’m wondering if there are plans to explore this feature further? In my opinion it’s one of the most underutilized yet most impressive features on the PlayStation 5. Oh, and Arne, I’m not sure if you have played Returnal with the 3D Pulse headset, but it’s easily the best 3D audio I have heard on console. And I know I’m commenting very late, but is the elevator bug which prevents you from progressing still present? And I’m assuming this was primarily a frame rate and perhaps load time enhancement, but are there plans to implement some legitimate dual sense features into the game? Such as advanced haptics? And possibly more adaptive trigger implementation? It’s refreshing to see someone who actually replies to comments. Then we have Kena later this summer, Microsoft’s own Deathloop/Ghostwire, Forbidden West, and a bevy of high end indies such as Stray, Solar Ash, Jett, LDI, and more. And it might be a few months until I can dive into The Last of Us 2 enhanced because Rift Apart is only 3 weeks away.
Uncharted 4 ps5 upgrade free#
So again, thanks to Naughty Dog and SIE for delivering yet another free enhancement, but even more thanks to Sony for not allowing me to play it immediately due to the fact that I’m neck deep in a cutting edge next gen exclusive like Returnal.
Uncharted 4 ps5 upgrade series#
The amount of hype that Gears 5 received for having a free enhanced edition at Xbox Series launch Was staggering and sad because it highlighted the fact that there just wasn’t anything new to play. I actually feel bad for people who chose Xbox Series S expecting a next gen experience with new, cutting edge exclusives. Sony’s renewed commitment to PS5 boost mode is awesome, and more enhanced games are coming, but I’m just thankful that PlayStation 5 is so flush with new, exclusive titles that this is just a footnote. Enhanced games are a nice side note, as it should be. I’m just happy that headlines for the PS5 right now are new, next gen exclusives such as Returnal and Rift Apart. While upgrades on last gen games are very welcome, it shouldn’t be the lead headline for your shiny next-gen console. Explore the nooks and crannies of the lush environments, and keep an eye out for extra ledges, shimmy lines on walls and hard to see platforms. It’s surprising and refreshing to see this as a stealth release. UNCHARTED 4 has more collectibles than ever: over 190 treasures, journal notes and optional conversations. This is especially true in Crushing (though be careful, as marking does not work in Crushing). A successful combat encounter can be weighted in your favour with a good stealth start. Pay close attention to the white and yellow detection indicators for each enemy and use the marking system to keep track of where the enemies are patrolling. The tall grass is invaluable for hiding your movement and taking out foes silently. Stealth plays a major part in UNCHARTED 4’s combat.
An orange indicator appears on your aiming reticule when you down an enemy, and an orange burst icon appears when you successfully down an enemy with a highly valuable head shot.
Prefer it old-school with L1 and R1 as aim and fire, respectively? Fancy playing inverted? Want to swap your control sticks? Go for it! An adventurer is only as good as their tools. There are a multitude of customizable control settings, so find the one that works for you.
